Nursery Transitions September 2021

As you will have heard the Government have made the announcement on Monday 14th June to delay the relaxation of COVID Restrictions and I am afraid as a direct result of this decision, we have been forced to make changes to our transition plans for your child.

Due to restrictions not being lifted we will no longer be able to hold our inductions meetings within the building. We have had to cancel the on-site meeting due to take place on 23rd June and instead we will be sending you a recorded PowerPoint alongside an induction pack. We have also made the difficult decision to cancel the initial Stay and Play sessions that were due to be held on 29th June at 9.30am, 1.30pm and 6.30pm. Instead, we would however like to offer you the opportunity to meet/tour the school with the Headteacher Mrs Freeman. Please contact the school office via if you would like to book a mutually convenient time.

Meet the Nursery team

We would also like to offer you the opportunity to meet the class teacher and Mrs Riches, our Nursery Teacher and Early Years Lead, in a socially distanced meeting on our school field. You will receive a call from the school inviting you to come along on either Wednesday 7th or 14th July 2021.

Stay and Play session – children only

We are currently not planning to make any changes to the planned September start for the children in Nursery, but we will have to keep this under review. Currently Stay and Play sessions are still planned for 2nd September.
Session 1: Thursday 2nd September 2021 10am - 11am or
Session 2: Thursday 2nd September 2021 1pm - 2pm

If you have not booked a session you can still sign up for one via
