RE Curriculum Intent

At Hale we believe it is vital for all children to develop and value their own identity, providing them with a sense of belonging and security. Through the RE Curriculum we promote an understanding of the wider world through exploring a range of religions and beliefs. Children are encouraged to ask questions and reflect on their own beliefs and values, whilst also appreciating those of others. RE is crucial in promoting respect, open-mindedness and tolerance which is embedded in our curriculum and our Hale PRIDE values. Through RE our children develop a strong awareness and appreciation of other cultures and religions both within their local, national and global communities.
